Lazer Universe, a creative and fast-paced laser cutting and printing business, is looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Entry-Level Studio Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in laser cutting, materials preparation, and studio operations. No prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and an interest in working with laser-cutting and printing technology. We work with artists, makers and creative brands around the world.

Role Summary:

As a Studio Assistant, you will help keep the studio running smoothly by assisting in laser cutting, preparing materials, picking and packing orders, replenishing stock, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. You’ll work under direct supervision, with opportunities to develop technical skills in laser cutting and UV printing while learning about production workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Laser Cutting & Material Preparation:

• Assist with setting up and preparing materials for laser cutting and UV printing.
• Load and unload laser-cutting machines under supervision.
• Handle and organise raw materials, ensuring they are ready for production.

Order Fulfilment & Stock Management:

• Pick and pack customer orders with care and attention to detail.
• Replenish stock and assist with inventory management.
• Maintain accurate records of materials and finished products.

Studio Maintenance & Equipment Handling:

• Operate basic materials handling equipment.
